180 Roofing & Contracting provides a variety of residential home services. including:
Your roof not only protects your home, but helps regulate the temperature of your household year round. An efficient roof will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter, even saving you money on cooling and heating bills. Your roof is the ultimate line of defense for your home, protecting you and your family from the weather, temperature, debris, and more.
So what happens when your roof fails? If your roof is no longer efficient, whether damaged after a big storm or simply deteriorating from everyday wear-and-tear, your property is at risk for water damage, mold, mildew, and more. And if you have an older roof that hasn’t been maintained or replaced, you’re opening yourself up to the potential pitfalls of drafts, holes, leaks, and more.
It is important to get your roof checked to avoid these problems and to make sure that your home and your family are protected

If it’s time for a roof replacement, particularly if your roof is over 25 years old, our team is here to guide you through the options. Together, we can help you choose the roofing system that is right for your home type, your budget, and your aesthetic preferences. We know you take pride in your home, so we even help you select the perfect material and product colors so that your new roof seamlessly integrates with the rest of your home’s exterior.
If your roof has been damaged by a wind or hail storm, we work closely with your insurance provider to alleviate the headache of handling claims. Were you hit by the storm? Are you ready for the next storm season? Don’t wait until it’s too late.
Hail storms may be short, but they can cause widespread damage in just a matter of minutes, as most of us in the DFW area already know! Most of this damage is not easy to spot from the ground. Do you see dimples on your shingles or metal roof? While these may seem minor, continued hail damage can leave your roof less effective, particularly for shingle roofs. Additionally, hail can leave parts of your roof looking fine while other spots may be hit much harder. Hire a professional roofing company like 180 Roofing & Contracting to inspect your roof if you suspect any issues. Our team is highly-trained to assess damage and put together the best recommendation to fix major or minor issues, as well as prevent further problems with the next storm.
If we find damage to your property, your 180 Roofing & Contracting representative will present detailed photos of the damage as part of our complete report to you. Photo documentation of all the damages will be taken as proof to provide to your insurance company to justify your claim.
FILING THE CLAIM
We will need to call your insurance company and file a claim. Many times, your 180 Roofing & Contracting representative can sit down and do this with you. At this time you will be assigned a claim number, this will be used to track your claim throughout the claims process.
CONFIRMING THE INSURANCE INSPECTION DATE
Usually, within 24-48 hours, the insurance adjuster assigned to your claim will call you with a date and time that they will be at your property. It is VERY important that you write down the adjuster’s name, phone number, and time that they will be there. Please pass this contact information on to your 180 Roofing & Contracting representative, so we can meet the adjuster at your home.
MEETING THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER
It is very important that we are able to meet your insurance adjuster at your property to represent your best interest during the insurance meeting. Our goal is to guarantee that your roof and repairs are approved for replacement on the date of the inspection. If we cannot meet with your adjuster, it is possible that certain items that should be replaced may be overlooked, or only partial repair of your roof may be approved. To avoid such circumstances, your 180 Roofing & Contracting representative will need to know the date and time the adjuster is scheduled to be at your house.
EVALUATING DAMAGE WITH YOUR INSURANCE ADJUSTER
Your 180 Roofing & Contracting representative will arrive early to the insurance adjustment to be fully prepared. During the meeting, your 180 Roofing & Contracting representative will show the adjuster all the damages discovered in 180 Roofing & Contracting’s original inspection. The adjuster will confirm the damages and prepare a written Summary Report going over all the property damage and the amount they are currently estimating the losses to be. This Summary Report may be completed on-site or mailed to you.
Once you receive the Summary Report, contact your 180 Roofing & Contracting representative to sit down and go over all the details and line items. During this time, we will also go over all the project specifications, products, and colors being using to restore your home. A 180 Roofing & Contracting representative will schedule the work to be done.
